ABOUT CHILL AND FUN
The Denver Papier Mache Club hosts their inaugural exhibition Chill and Fun at Alto Gallery, with an opening Thursday, November 8th from 6 - 10 PM. The show’s title is pulled straight from the group’s mission: to offer time and space for artists to gather and experiment in a low-pressure medium while having fun. As papier mache has a deep history in many forms and processes the world over, it also has a reputation for evoking playful memories of primary school art class. All interpretations are welcome in this invitational, which celebrates the relaxed nature of the club itself - hanging out, gluing paper, and hovering over the snack table.

Chill and Fun will be on view from Thursday, November 8 through Saturday, December 1, with an opening reception Thursday November 8 from 6 - 10 PM. On Saturday, November 24 Alto Gallery and the Denver Papier Mache Club will celebrate Small Business Saturday with papier mache demos and an artist-curated snack basket sale.

Participating Artists: Kristen DiCicco, Andrea Floren, Steven Frost, Jane Jordan Gravely, Stephanie Kantor, Aaron Mulligan, Sophie Lynn Morris, George P. Perez, and Kyra Weinkle
