For the Month of Printmaking, Alto Gallery is proud to present Street Views. Opening First Friday March 6. Featuring printed works from Fawn Atencio, Virginia Diaz, Jeromie Dorrance, Elena Gunderson, Izzy Jarvis, Daisy McGowan, Raymundo Munoz, Kat Salvaggio, Gregory Santos, Thomas Scharfenberg, and Peter Yumi.

While a bird's-eye view can be helpful in understanding the lay of the land, there's nothing quite like viewing a place with feet to pavement. The intimacy afforded can be intimidating, but also enlightening. Cracks can't be ignored, but neither can smiles.

Street Views presents printed works from printmakers inspired by the streets we walk through everyday. While some artists focus on the literal landscape, rich with patterns and architecture, others explore the cultural and sociopolitical dynamics that have played out through history near and far.

Prints of all sorts will be on display, including linocuts, etchings, screenprints, lithographs, risographs, and zines.
