Charles Russell's solo exhibition of interactive electronic works closed Saturday July 30 with a special performance by local electronic art rock act Holophrase. Members Malgosia Stacha, Luis Etscheid, Caleb Henning, and Tyler Lindgren played new material from their as-yet-unreleased album. Complex rhythms, processed vocals, and dueling synths combined to create a dark and mysterious atmosphere, augmented by the blinking lights of Russell's creations.
