ABOUT

During the past several years, I’ve become aware of a recurring habit in my creative practice: A tendency to create multiple iterations of the same subject and composition wherein each subsequent version is somehow altered in terms of atmosphere, mood, light, etc. While this impulse has been present in the work for years, it is only recently that I have decided to give it more space and credence.

As I have sought to gain an understanding of this repetitive impulse, these questions have been central in my mind. Hopefully they will help frame this body of work for you as well.

What is reality? Is it singular? What does it look like? What does it feel like? How is it manifested in images?
